We made it home Saturday night...Thanks for tagging along on our trip. It was really a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for all of us. See you all soon.

The last stop on our three week journey was to visit the old Ohio waterway canal in Peninsula. The kids had the chance to walk a bit on the donkey boat tow path. After that it was drive, drive, drive...

Glow-in-the-dark party took place on our last night.

Lunch at the SHED - the Iowa Machine Shed Restaurant - helped take the sting out of missing out on our last stop. Huge portions and great food!

One of our final stops was to have ice cream at the oldest parlor in the world. Unfortunately, Gus and Thelma (the owners) had a meeting in the neighboring town -- so they had to close the shop for the day. If we are ever back in Iowa -- we'll be sure to finish that task.

A lot of this during our last few days -- unfortunately! Long driving days -- trying to make up for loss time.

Happy 4th of July folks! We celebrated by having dinner with fireworks in 3D!
